ALBION Varieties

ALBION is a strawberry variety that is day-neutral (everbearing) and is a cross between Diamante and Cal 94.16-1. Leaves have shorter petiole length and typically have heavy pubescence. Leaves also don’t have as much concavity and have more rounded serrations. The primary flowers have 5-8 petals and this variety will bloom independently of the day length, as long as the conditions are suitable. Initiation of blooming varies on the weather and can be within 6 weeks after planting up to 3-4 months. The fruit has a more conical shape, is firmer, more uniform, and fairly large. The fruit has a sweet taste with moderate acid levels. Variety Producers
