BOMASTER Varieties

BOMASTER switchgrass was cooperatively developed as a cultivar by the USDA- Agricultural Research Service and the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC and released on 1st of November, 2006. BoMaster is adapted to the Southeastern U.S. and has potential as a forage or biomass crop. BoMaster is an eight-clone synthetic which was selected for its high biomass and high cell-wall production.
