COKER 48 Varieties

COKER 48 was released by Novartis Seeds, Inc. in 1976. It was developed from a cross of (Coker 258 and Coker 319) and Coker 319. It has high resistance to black shank and Granville wilt. Coker 48 produces good yields, and the days to flower after transplanting are average. The average leaf number is 20 on a higher than average stalk. Ground suckers average less than one.
