GEORGIA-08V Varieties

GEORGIA-08V was released by the Georgia Agricultural Experiment Station in 2008. It is a new high-yielding, high-oleic, TSWV-resistant, large-seeded, Virginia-type peanut variety. Georgia-08V has a high-oleic and low linoleic fatty acid ratio for improved oil quality and longer shelf-life of in-shell Virginia-type peanuts. It can only be sold by individuals licensed by the University of Georgia Research Foundation under guidelines established in conjunction with the Georgia Seed Development Commission. US VARIETY PROTECTION applied for and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed - 1994 PVPA. Variety Producers
