MAGNOLIA Varieties

MAGNOLIA was released by AgriPro Coker. It is a soft red winter wheat that is medium-height with medium-early season heading. Flag leaf is erect and twisted. Head shape is strap and awned. It is moderately resistant to stripe rust and leaf rust. It is susceptible to powdery mildew in the southeast. It is moderately resistant to wheat spindle streak virus and is resistant to Biotype E of the Hessian fly. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed – 1994 PVPA.
