NC 27NF Varieties

NC 27NF was released by the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service in 1986. It was developed from crosses involving Coker 319 and a breeding line. It is a non-flowering variety that produces high yields with a high grade index. NC 27NF has low resistance to black shank and Granville wilt and is susceptible to common root-knot nematodes and mosaic virus. NC 27NF is a relatively low-growing variety when topped at 18-20 harvestable leaves as suggested for non-flowering varieties. Variety Producers
