NC YADKIN Varieties

NC YADKIN is similar to NC-Neuse with similar plant color, erect, recurved flag leaves, yellow anther color, mid-dense heads and absence of stem anthocyanin. It head is apically awnletted and heads 3 days earlier than NC-Neuse (both are classified as late). Plant height same as AGS2000. It has resistance to powdery mildew and leaf rust, tolerance to Barley Yellow Dwarf virus, and moderately resistant to Fusarium head blight. Variety Producers
