OAKES Varieties

OAKES was released by by AgriPro Coker. It is a soft red winter wheat that is medium-height with medium maturity. Its head shape is tapering and apically awnletted. It is moderately resistant to stripe rust, leaf rust, Wheat Spindle Streak virus, Soil Borne Mosaic virus, and Septoria tritici. It is susceptible to powdery mildew and Hessian fly. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a class of Certified Seed – 1994 PVPA. Variety Producers
