RGH 4 Varieties

RGH 4 has high resistance to Granville wilt with moderate resistance to black shank. It has resistance to both root-knot nematodes and tobacco mosaic virus. It is rated excellent in curability, but needs to ripen well for good cures. It holds well and has good stalk strength. This variety grows with a grainy appearance and will flower about two days earlier than K 326. RGH 4 is a flue-cured hybrid and is almost equal to K 326 in yield and grade index. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed - 1994 PVPA. Variety Producers
