TIFWAY II Varieties

TIFWAY II was released by Georgia Coastal Plain Experiment Station. It looks like Tifway, however, Tifway II produces a denser, more weed-free turf, exhibits a little better quality, is more resistant to root-knot ring and sting nematodes. It has more frost tolerance and shows better spring growth than Tifway. Tifway II is suited for lawns, fairways, golf tees and other similar uses. Variety Producers
