TYRONE - Group VII Varieties

TYRONE - Group VII was released by USDA-ARS. It has white flowers and gray pubescence. Seed are yellow with shiny seed coat luster and brown hila. It is a giant forage type soybean, specifically developed for the South. It has the Rps2 gene for resistance to Phytophthora root rot disease and has resistance to bacterial pustule. It has moderate resistance to downy mildew disease. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed - 1994 PVPA. Variety Producers
