USG 3209 Varieties

USG 3209 was released by UniSouth Genetics, Inc. in 1999. Plant height is short, straw strength is moderate, and grain heads are apically awned. Maturity is early, test weight is average, and yield potential is excellent. USG 3209 is resistant to powdery mildew and stem and leaf rust. It is moderately resistant to wheat spindle streak virus, leaf and glume blotch, and barley yellow dwarf. USG 3209 is resistant to Hessian fly biotypes GP, B, and E. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed - 1994 PVPA. No Registered Class. Variety Producers
