The Quality Assurance Program is a third-party field inspection program that ensures varietal purity and other requested varietal characteristics. Services offered with this program include recordkeeping, field inspection, seed sampling, lab inspection, and labeling. Seed producers customize the program to meet their individual needs by deciding to participate in some or all of these services. Some producers use only the field inspection service, while others utilize the entire system labeling their seed with the Quality Assurance tag or logo.
