A-1 Bentgrass

BLACK BEAUTY was developed by Cascade Research and is a seed blend of three different grasses: Ebony, Taos, and Black Magic. This dark green grass as a thicker cuticle layer covering the leaves which assist in a more drought, heat and cold, disease, and abuse tolerate plant. It has an upright growth habit and a low growing crown. Establishment is more difficult and germination is slower. Initial growth is slower which requires less mowing and fertilizing.

CRENSHAW is a creeping bentgrass developed by Texas A&M University. It has exceptional heat tolerance, bright green color, dense texture, aggressive vertical growth, brown patch resistance and produces less grain. US PROTECTED VARIETY and can be sold only as a Class of Certified Seed - 1994 PVPA.
